Mount Maunganui???? RECEPTIONIST / HOUSEKEEPER WANTED – Join the Pacific Coast Lodge Team! ???? We're on the lookout for a motivated and detail-loving legend to join our awesome team here at Pacific Coast Lodge & Backpackers in beautiful Mount Maunganui! ???? About the Role: This is a dual position combining housekeeping shifts in the morning and reception shifts in the afternoon/evening. You’ll need to be confident cleaning a 96-bed backpackers and take pride in keeping our space spotless. This includes: Cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas Making beds and tidying rooms Washing and folding linen Welcoming guests, checking people in/out Handling bookings and general reception duties We have high standards when it comes to cleanliness, so if you’re someone who notices the little things and isn’t afraid to scrub, we want you on our team! ???? ???? Typical Weekly Roster: (May vary depending on the season and team needs) Monday: Off Tuesday: Off Wednesday: 7:30am–1pm (Housekeeping) Thursday: 7:30am–1pm (Housekeeping) Friday: 7:30am–1pm (Housekeeping) & 3:30pm–9pm (Reception) Saturday: 7:30am–1pm (Housekeeping) & 3:30pm–9pm (Reception) Sunday: 4pm–9pm (Reception)
Please note: evening and weekend availability is essential. Please do not apply if those hours won’t work for you. ???? Commitment: We’re ideally looking for someone who can stay long-term — from June 2025 through to March 2026.
