Description:

Our client is a leading organisation within the Health Sector and has a requirement for a warehouse assistant with a class 2 license to drive a truck around the site. This is an ASAP start for the next 2-3 months. 
This is a hospital based role working as part of a busy warhousng team and offers the the chance to develop your supply chain knowledge working within a large complex organisation. 
This role is based in Otahuhu in South Auckland

Starting ASAP, working 6am-2.30pm Mon-Fri.  

 Duties include:
  • Checking and receipting inwards goods, putting stock away and replenishing stock around the organisation.
  • Ensure stock incoming is correct and not damaged
  • Stock rotation
  • Dealing with stock issues including stock returns, missing stock and over stock levels
  • Liaise with suppliers
  • Using Oracle
  • Other adhoc duties as they arise

Summary:

To be considered you will have:
  • Previous stores / warehousing experience
  • NZ class 2 driving license required
  • A good understanding of how a warehouse works
  • The ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
  • Be fit and happy with manual lifting and moving stock around a large organisation
  • Good fitness level as delivering stock around a large organisation 
  • Be comfortable working within a hospital environment
