Description:

HANMER SPRINGS, NORTH CANTERBURY, SOUTH ISLAND
We are looking for full time experienced Duty Manager who is passionate about customer service, has a can-do attitude, who is able to lead a small team in a busy tavern/restaurant and bar in the outdoor adventure, thermal pools and spa tourist town of Hanmer Springs. 
Ideally you will have:
  • A current Duty Manager's Certificate or a minimum of an LCQ
  • A good understanding of NZ liquor laws
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of New Zealand food and beverages
  • The ability to work behind the bar or on the floor 
  • A passion for excellent customer service with a keen eye for attention to detail
  • Cash handling experience

Summary:

We are looking for energetic an outgoing individual who can work on a rotating roster - evenings and weekend availability is essential.
To be eligible for this role, you must have the right to work in New Zealand, and you must have excellent English with great communication skills.
This is a permanent position, although they would consider someone with the right skills who can commit for the Summer. Start is as soon as possible, so you need to be in New Zealand.
