Description:
We are working a with an awesome company looking for experienced roofers available to work throughout the Christchurch region. Ideally you will have a few years under your belt and be confident with both commercial and residential roofing.
This is a full-time job, offered on a temp to perm basis.
Hours of work will be 07:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
Starting pay will be $30.00 to $37.00 depending on experience.
What we need from you:
- Confident with installing, repairing and maintenance roofing work
- Able to lead a team when needed
- Measure, cut, and fit materials to ensure a perfect fit
- Experienced with various roofing materials and tools
- Ensure all work is performed to the highest safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Own basic tools and reliable transport to get to work
- Able to pass a pre employment drug test
- Able to provide work related references
- Site Safe required
Beneficial:
- Proven experience in sheet metal roofing
- Site Safe and Heights and Harness training
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
