Description:

Tradestaff Dunedin is seeking a qualified and experienced Joiner for a large-scale commercial interior fit-out. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional team delivering high-spec joinery installations in a safe and well-managed environment.
You’ll be responsible for installing a range of joinery components including cabinetry, wall linings, skirting, and other architectural features, all to a high standard of finish.

Hours are 7am until 5pm, Monday to Friday
Pay rate is dependant on skill level - $35 - $40 per hour 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install detailed and custom joinery elements as per plans and specifications
  • Work to precise tolerances with a strong focus on quality
  • Liaise with site supervisors and other trades as needed
  • Interpret shop drawings and follow project timelines
  • Maintain safe and tidy work practices in line with site protocols

Summary:

Requirements:
  • NZ Trade Certification in Carpentry or Joinery (Level 4 or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial joinery installations
  • Ability to read and interpret construction and joinery drawings
  • High attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Own tools and reliable transport
  • Ability to pass pre-employment checks (including drug and alcohol testing)
Desirable:
  • Current Site Safe Passport
  • EWP or Working at Heights certification
  • First Aid certificate
  • Ability to pass pre-employment checks (including drug and alcohol testing)
