Description:

Jack Rabbit is on the hunt for a legendary Bar Manager to lead our team, mix up amazing drinks, and help us bring good vibes to the most scenic spot in Canterbury. We're growing fast and need someone cool, confident, and committed to making our bar the best in Tekapo.
What We're Looking For:
  • At least 1 year of bar or hospitality management experience
  • Good level of English (bonus points if you’re charming too)
  • A current LCQ + Manager’s Cert
  • The legal right to work in NZ
  • Love for wine, cocktails & spirits (and knowing your Negroni from your Mojito)
  • Sales smarts — upsell like a legend without being pushy
  • A passion for top-notch customer service
  • Skills to lead and inspire a bar team without shouting like Gordon Ramsay
What You'll Actually Be Doing:
  • Running the bar like a pro (smooth, clean, fun, and efficient)
  • Hiring, training & managing a kickass team
  • Inventing awesome drinks & improving the menu
  • Managing stock (no one likes running out of gin)
  • Keeping things legal, clean, and running like clockwork
  • Boosting sales and guest happiness
  • Teaming up with the kitchen & front-of-house legends
