Class 5 Truck Driver – Seasonal Work in New Zealand (Kiwifruit Harvest)
Are you an experienced truck driver looking for a short-term opportunity in New Zealand. We’re seeking Class 5 drivers for the rapidly approaching Kiwifruit harvest season.
Details:
- Duration: Approximately 8–12 weeks, starting early-March 2026
- Location: Central Bay of Plenty (with some limited out-of-region work)
- Schedule: Casual basis; hours vary with crop flow and weather
- Home every night: No overnight stays required
- Fleet: Modern, well-maintained European curtain-sider trucks on 50MAX permits
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Ability to plan ahead and communicate clearly
- Clean Class 5 license (NZ or equivalent international license) with references
- Proven Class 5 driving experience
- Reasonable fitness – regular in/out of truck, especially for local work
- Pride in personal and vehicle presentation
- Methodical approach to pre-trip inspections, loading, and load restraint
- Ability to reverse pull-type trailers (5/4/3 axle)
- Flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends
Ideal for:
