Description:

Class 5 Truck Driver – Seasonal Work in New Zealand (Kiwifruit Harvest)
Are you an experienced truck driver looking for a short-term opportunity in New Zealand. We’re seeking Class 5 drivers for the rapidly approaching Kiwifruit harvest season.
Details:
  • Duration: Approximately 8–12 weeks, starting early-March 2026
  • Location: Central Bay of Plenty (with some limited out-of-region work)
  • Schedule: Casual basis; hours vary with crop flow and weather
  • Home every night: No overnight stays required
  • Fleet: Modern, well-maintained European curtain-sider trucks on 50MAX permits
What we’re looking for:
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Ability to plan ahead and communicate clearly
  • Clean Class 5 license (NZ or equivalent international license) with references
  • Proven Class 5 driving experience
  • Reasonable fitness – regular in/out of truck, especially for local work
  • Pride in personal and vehicle presentation
  • Methodical approach to pre-trip inspections, loading, and load restraint
  • Ability to reverse pull-type trailers (5/4/3 axle)
  • Flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends
Ideal for:
  • International travelers with the right to work in New Zealand 
    We will assist in converting your home country truck license to the NZ equivalent, Class 5)
