Jay's Dumpling Cafe, Nelson, is looking for a Cook
We’re hiring a team member for our Nelson store. AEWV sponsorship available for the right person
Requirements:
  • English: Basic conversational English.
  • Experience: 2 years of fast-food kitchen experience; basic knowledge of Asian food and materials.
  • Efficiency: Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Age: Must be over 18 years old (as we are a licensed restaurant).
  • Commitment: This position is for LONG-TERM employment ONLY.
  • Payroll: All wages are paid through IRD and payroll systems only. Applicants who do not want to provide an IRD number or who request cash payment will not be considered.
  • Physically fit and reliable.
Preferred:
  • grill skill
  • Plating skills
Details:
  • Hours: 5 days/week (40 hours), Tue to Sat. May extend to 6 days in the future.
  • Duties: Cooking dumplings, wontons, noodles, and fried food; cleaning; stock management; teamwork.
