We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our small, high-performing team at our luxury lodge in Queenstown. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in creating beautifully presented spaces and delivering exceptional service to our guests.
About the Role
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a key part in maintaining the impeccable presentation of our villas, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Working closely with the Lodge Hosts and wider team, you will help ensure every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, refresh, and present guest villas to an exceptional standard, following established procedures
- Conduct daily villa servicing and full departure cleans
- Maintain and clean public areas, reception, staff spaces, and lodge amenities
- Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding
- Replenish amenities and ensure all guest items are stocked and beautifully presented
- Report any maintenance issues, missing items, or hazards promptly
- Support the wider lodge team during busy periods (e.g., carrying luggage, deliveries, basic portering)
- Uphold health & safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Handle guest requests professionally and discreetly
- Maintain housekeeping storage areas, equipment, and linen inventories
