Short-term Housekeeper and Kitchen Assistant Required for a historical lodge in Oamaru (starting by 1 November through summer)
We are a heritage boutique accommodation provider in Oamaru. We have 1 vacancy for a House-Keeper cum kitchen assistant.
This is a part-time role and work hours will depend on lodge occupancy. Staff accommodation with utilities is provided on-site, in exchange for 1 hour of work per day.
Duties:
- Providing housekeeping and upkeeping of amenities for guest rooms. This includes following the lodge’s standard procedures in house-keeping such as making guest beds, cleaning bathrooms/toilets and other general cleaning duties.
— Preparation of breakfast & meals for guests when required, washing of dishes in kitchen.
— Preference for those with prior housekeeping experience, or fast workers who learn fast. On-the-job training will be provided.
