Join the team at the Thermal Pools Cafe in Hanmer Springs for the Summer.  Is it a large bustling casual cafe offering a variety of food, all prepared in a modern kitchen.

This is a full-time position for someone with previous 1-2 years commercial cooking/chef experience.  Approximately 40 hours a week, with additional hours available during holiday periods. Set rostered shifts with no late nights.  Excellent rate of pay for the right person.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment working as a fast-food cook, making pizzas, doing food preparation and assisting generally in the kitchen.  You will need be a good all-rounder who doesn't mind getting their hand dirty.

Free use of the Pools as a staff member.

Hanmer Springs is an awesome outdoor adventure and thermal pools/spa tourist town.  It is 130 kms north of the city of Christchurch.  It is a small, beautiful place with the mountain all around.  If you enjoy the outdoors - clear air, nature, hiking, walking and just about any outdoor activity, or if you just like to socialize you will like it here. You will also need to have a valid NZ work visa which enables you to work in New Zealand.  You will also need good English.  Visa sponsorship is not offered.
