We are currently looking for a motivated couple to join a progressive team as a Farm Assistant.
Based in Mid Canterbury near Geraldine, this location offers outdoor activities such as tramping, hunting, mountain biking and skiing all within driving distance. We are 2 hours from Christchurch, 3 hours from Dunedin and 4.5 hours from Queenstown.
The spring calving herd of 1850 cows are milked through a 60 bail and 50 bail rotary cowshed, with protrack, ACR’s, automatic teat spraying and in-shed feeding, the facilities have been set up for an efficient operation.
The accommodation available is a shared, furnished 3 bedroom weather board house with log burner and updated bathroom. Large carport.
You will bring an active & enthusiastic contribution in the day-to-day running of the farm operations and have Health & Safety at the forefront of mind.
