AucklandThe Role: You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the boat production line, ensuring that products are built to specification, on time, and to the highest standards. This is a hands-on management role where leadership, planning, and process optimisation are key to success. You'll coordinate with cross-functional teams and play a pivotal role in meeting production goals. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of the boat production line Supervise and support production staff and team leaders Ensure all products meet quality, safety, and manufacturing standards Optimise workflow, material use, and staffing for efficient output Identify and implement process improvements Collaborate with design, engineering, and procurement teams Monitor and report on key production metrics About You: Experience in a production or operations management role, ideally within boatbuilding or a related manufacturing field Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams Solid understanding of production processes and lean manufacturing Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality Hands-on and proactive approach Perk: Company car included How to Apply: If you’re ready to lead a high-performing boat production team and make a meaningful impact in a growing marine manufacturing business, we’d love to hear from you.
