Catering Assistant
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and versatile Catering Assistant to join our dynamic catering team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of various events, from food preparation and cooking to delivery and on-site sales. Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Assist the culinary team in preparing a diverse range of menu items, adhering to quality and safety standards. This includes chopping, slicing, marinating, and cooking as needed.
- Cooking: Collaborate with the kitchen staff to execute cooking tasks during events. Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Delivery: Safely transport prepared food and equipment to event locations within the designated timeframe. Ensure that all items are packaged securely to maintain their quality during transit.
- On-Site Sales: Set up and manage on-site sales stations at events, interacting with guests and taking orders. Provide product information, answer customer inquiries, and process payments accurately.
